Stemming from a need to speed up the capture of criminals using hard evidence, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department has just established a new forensic lab information and investigative authority section inside the Firs criminal Division, the top killer catchers on the force. The members of the forensic team are dubbed the “white coats.” Kazuki Kitamura stars in his first lead role for a TBS drama series as white coat investigator Satoshi Ichinose, who uses his advanced forensic skills and unique investigative methods to crack puzzling cases. He is joined by Shosuke Tanihara as “the human lie detector” Masayuki Honda, and Hiroyuki Miyasako ex-forensics ace, Toru Okunuki, to round out the cool white coat, forensic “geek” trio. While they all differ in personality and specialty, it is their cooperation and respect for each that solves crimes.

Haru and his wife, Kanako, are in their 4th blissful year of marriage. But when Kanako collapses from subarachnoid bleeding and awakens from surgery with no memory of the life they’ve built together, Haru is devastated. He still remembers and dotes on every detail. Yet Kanako’s slate has been wiped clean. With no moorings to their marriage, it is obvious that they cannot return to what they had. But Haru remains determined to make it work and comes to a forward-looking conclusion: the two must fall in love all over again.

Daisuke is secretary to a powerful politician named Tojo for whom he has great respect and follows without question. But when he is told that Tojo is involved in a bribery scandal and that the money is being filtered into Daisuke’s account in order to set him up, Daisuke is shocked that the man he respected would make him the scapegoat in his crimes. Falsely accused of these crimes, Daisuke must fight to prove his innocence while being pursued by the police. His journey back will test his trust in the people around him and the system to which he has dedicated his life.

Three eligible bachelors meet three single women at a match-making party. The three men are doing everything they can to find the “right” partners. However, the three women feel that there is much more to life than just getting married, although they don’t want to be lonely. The series explores the meaning of marriage and raises questions about our old beliefs.
