SASUKE PARK athletic theme park comes to Tokyo this summer!

2014.06.27

This summer, a large, interactive athletic theme park based on the popular TBS sports entertainment program “SASUKE” is coming to Tokyo! Located in Toyosu, a district in Tokyo popular for leisure activities, SASUKE PARK will be open during the summer break of Japanese schools, from July 19 to August 31. In the park, visitors can experience for themselves 20 famous obstacles from the TV show, including the Warped Wall, Cliffhanger, and Tarzan Rope. Kids and those less prepared for the physical challenge of the regular obstacles can have fun on the Easy Course, while those ready for more challenging action can face the Normal Course. Once participants have cleared these courses, they can progress to the daunting SASUKE Course. There is even a recreation of the Final Stage featuring the symbol of SASUKE, the 15-meter-high SASUKE Tower.

First airing on TBS in 1997, TBS will celebrate its 30th broadcast with the upcoming “SASUKE 2014” on July 3. Since only 100 people have been able to participate in each competition, the demand for the SASUKE experience has always greatly exceeded the limited spots available. Now, by offering a multitude of obstacles for an extended period, SASUKE PARK can satisfy those who have dreamed of taking on the SASUKE challenge. In addition, SASUKE PARK will offer original SASUKE-themed food and merchandise available only in the Toyosu location. It’s the perfect event for couples, friends and families looking to build some lifelong memories! Discounted advance tickets go on sale starting June 26 at Seven-Eleven convenience stores across Japan.

Note: SASUKE PARK in Toyosu is an athletic theme park hosted and operated by Nikken Lease Kogyo under license by TBS.
