China and Indonesia produce local versions of SASUKE!
“SASUKE VIETNAM” renewed for second season!

Broadcast in 165 countries and territories around the world, the SASUKE family of sports entertainment programs continues to welcome new local productions. In Asia Europe and North America and in Asia SASUKE fever is heating up more than ever! Headquartered in Jiangsu Province, the Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation (JSBC) is China’s third-biggest television network and a regular contender for the top ratings in the country. JSBC broadcasts the local Chinese version of SASUKE, “Ultimate Courage SASUKE,” inviting both men and women to take on the ultimate obstacle course! Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia (RCTI) is a terrestrial broadcaster and the linchpin of Indonesia’s largest media group, PT. Media Nusantara Citra Tbk. (MNC). Recently, RCTI and TBS concluded an agreement for RCTI to license the SASUKE format and produce a local version of the program. RCTI is celebrating its 25th anniversary with its SASUKE program, making its biggest investment in a television program to date! The large-scale production will even rival the original SASUKE in Japan, with a full-scale set. With shooting planned for December this year, RCTI is very busy preparing for the big show. Vietnam became the third country after Japan and the US to present a SASUKE program featuring all four stages of the original obstacle course. On June 18, Vietnam Television (VTV) began its terrestrial broadcast of “SASUKE VIETNAM” on its main channel, VTV3, in prime time. Having earned VTV the highest ratings in its history with consistent weekly performance, “SASUKE VIETNAM” has already been renewed for a second season! In January 2016, VTV will begin shooting Season No. 2 in Tokyu Binh Duong Garden City, about 30 km north of the capital Ho Chi Minh City. China is now the eighth country to host a local production of SASUKE, after the US, Malaysia, Singapore, Sweden, Turkey, the UK, and Vietnam. All around the world, SASUKE’s popularity continues to grow nonstop!
