The upcoming Sunday Theater series, "Atom’s Last Shot", which begins airing on Sunday, October 16th at 9 p.m. on TBS, will also be distributed domestically on the video streaming service Paravi and internationally on Disney's official streaming service Disney Plus.

This marks the third time that a TBS drama has been streamed on Disney Plus following TOKYO MER ~Running Emergency Room~, which began streaming last October, and My Family, streaming this April.

Atom’s Last Shot is a story set in the video game industry about a young genius game developer who stands up to a big corporation and matures in the process through his relationships with people around him. It stars busy film and TV drama actor, Kento Yamazaki in the role of genius game developer Nayuta Azumi, the story’s main character. Nayuta, however, is known as an "indie" developer creating games on his own without going through major companies or distributors. That is, until a certain incident forces him to leave the industry and lead a quiet life.

 Meanwhile, a long-established toy company, Atom Toys, is facing bankruptcy and decides as a last-ditch effort to enter the game industry and rebuild its management. But lacking funds and know-how, the company head desperately tries to find Nayuta, dubbed the "Banksy of the game industry.”

 Yamazaki is supported by actor Kouhei Matsushita in the role of Hayato Sugo, an important figure well acquainted with of Nayuta and others’ pasts, and Yukino Kishii as Umi Tominaga, the only daughter of the president of Atom Toys.Joe Odagiri plays Akihiko Okitsu, the president of a major IT company hostile to Nayuta.

 The story depicts the struggle of Nayuta and others in a fight for the survival of the small “monozukuri” manufacturer against corporate industry giants, while overcoming personal and professional difficulties along the way. Enjoy Atom’s Last Shot on Paravi and Disney Plus!
