Preparations are now underway to tear down the former National Stadium and rebuild the stadium in the lead-up to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. This former National Stadium could accommodate 54,000 spectators. There were toilets below where you see the white pole. There used to be stairs going down and the restroom were located at the bottom of the stairs.
