Nayuta is a young genius video game developer who works independently. His anonymity had gained him the moniker “the Banksy of video games,” until a certain incident caused him to shy away from games and live quietly. Meanwhile, the long-standing toy company Atom decides to delve into the video game industry in order to overcome their financial crisis. With no funds or experience, the people at Atom make a desperate attempt to contact Nayuta, the Banksy of video games, but will they succeed? Can they write a new chapter in the cut-throat world of video games?

After being a star student in high school, Junko Harumi finds herself in her early thirties having failed at love, college entrance exams and good employment. Working at a cram school as a tutor bereft of hope and motivation, she spends her days believing she’ll be fired at any moment. Then one day, a knuckle-headed, delinquent teen named Kyohei Yuri appears before her. “I want you to get me into the University of Tokyo,” he says. Having herself failed to get into the country’s most prestigious university, Junko refuses thinking it beyond her abilities, but then is overpowered by Kyohei’s strong will and desire, and finally relents. In the process, she is surprised when her handsome cousin, Masashi Yakumo, an elite trade company man, returns from working overseas and suddenly proposes marriage to her. With her life suddenly taking a turn for the better, can Junko get Kyohei into the University of Tokyo from a bottom-feeder high school? And is she destined to find the love to set her life on a new path?

A father with only a middle school education teams up with his daughter to get her into a top-tier middle school despite her attending a very low-rated grade school and without spending on cram school tuition. Based on a true story, this drama gives a full account of the 18-month-long effort of one family, beginning with the daughter’s 5th grade summer, to reverse fortunes and take advantage of equal opportunity.

An extremely fearful youth, Tenma Hokai, grudgingly runs a ghost extermination agency only because he hails from a long genealogy of those with special abilities to communicate with spirits. When a request comes in, he and his company colleagues strap on special devices and head for the haunted sites in what is a Japanese version of Ghostbusters. Or so one would hope. Meanwhile, Tenma must contend with a lady who follows him around, speak to his deceased father through dreams, a bothersome detective, a parade of quirky clients and spirits in what is far from a tale of horror but rather a hilarious comedy with comical interplay that also delivers a serious treatment on the meaning of "life" in a completely original drama.

Shizuku Miyama aims to become a doctor and follow in the footsteps of her father, Katsumi. “I want to make him proud,” she thinks. But when Katsumi expresses his disapproval toward his daughter becoming a doctor, Shizuku rebels and attends med school anyway on a scholarship. She makes it to her first year of residency where together with 4 other same-year interns she is assigned to the front lines of emergency medicine at the hospital’s critical care center. With only 6 months of medical practice behind them, these five interns lack sufficient life-saving skills, but through daily contact with experienced colleagues and contact with patients, find themselves maturing into full-fledged doctors and adults under the unforgiving life or death pressures of the emergency room.

Daichi Shinagawa is a bona fide “yankii”, a juvenile delinquent, who attends a prep high school. In fact, his reputation as a supreme tough is so widespread that he can’t walk the street without being challenged to a fight by other would-be thugs, and nobody will come near him at school. He therefore spends his days isolated and alone. Until one day he is befriended by the spectacled class president, Hana Adachi. While she looks like the prototypical serious student, Hana is herself a reformed “yankii” and something of a convivial space case. Daichi soon finds himself unwittingly swept up in her world, helping people with their problems and participating passionately in school events. Together they make for an incomparable duo in this fun and free-spirited high school fable.
