She does not remember what this man looks like, and is attached to the Dojo Squad, where she is trained to within an inch of her life by its martinet of an instructor, Atsushi Dojo.
She meets a Deaf woman, Marie Nakazawa, a childhood friend of an older member of the Task Force, Mikihisa Komaki, who is advising Marie on books she should read. Iku senses that Marie is in love with Komaki. Meanwhile, the librarian Asako Shibasaki is meeting frequently with a curator who has introduced himself as Shuji Asahina. Hikaru Tezuka, also of the Task Force, is fond of Asako, and is not sure what to think about all this.
Now Komaki is arrested by the Betterment Squad. A book he recommended to Marie had not been approved. Komaki is taken away, leaving the other members of the Task Force enraged at his detention on these dubious grounds.
To make matters even worse, Iku’s parents show up. They were strongly opposed to her joining Library Defense, and now her secret—the fact that much of her job involves armed combat—is revealed.
Will Komaki and Marie be torn apart? What fateful decision will Dojo make as confusion engulfs his unit? And how will Iku get through this?

75 min x 1 ep. / 60 min x 9 eps|10 episodes

Screenwriter Yumiko Inoue and producer Hiroki Ueda join forces to spin a wholly new type of nurse story reminiscent of an ancient inner palace drama. Set in a top-class hospital where nurses cater to a very exclusive and well-heeled class of clientele, a once altruistic nurse, Akari Arimura, lands work in the hospital where the country’s most elite politicians, entertainers and intelligentsia spare no cost for pampered medical care.
Seeking a rich husband after enduring harsh treatment at her former place of employment, Arimura finds herself once again at the bottom of a rigid pecking order controlled by a domineering head nurse who makes life hell for Arimura and her fellow, low-ranking, “generic” nurses as they become embroiled in “palace” politics, infighting and romance. A moving and romantic tale of personal growth proving that nurses are human, too.

But when no offers of employment come her way, she’s forced into taking on temp work and confronting “the painful realization that nobody needs her.” That’s when Mikuri lands a job as a professional homemaker for a strait-laced bachelor named Hiramasa. Mikuri’s perfectionist work ethic wins over Hiramasa’s complete trust, but unfortunate circumstances result in the loss of this job, too. Feeling anxious about the future, Mikuri makes Hiramasa a strange offer. “Would you consider employing me through marriage?” He agrees, and a nuptial agreement is signed, making the two legally betrothed in a somewhat falsified life as husband/employer and wife/employee.
Can the couple function in a strictly professional relationship like this without the truth becoming known? Is there any chance of a chemical reaction between a pure company man and a dreamer woman thrown together for mere convenience?
