Nayuta is a young genius video game developer who works independently. His anonymity had gained him the moniker “the Banksy of video games,” until a certain incident caused him to shy away from games and live quietly. Meanwhile, the long-standing toy company Atom decides to delve into the video game industry in order to overcome their financial crisis. With no funds or experience, the people at Atom make a desperate attempt to contact Nayuta, the Banksy of video games, but will they succeed? Can they write a new chapter in the cut-throat world of video games?

Tsubaki Hibino is a plain and studious teen whose life to this point has had little to do with love.. until she meets Kyota Tsubaki, a cute and smart yet exceedingly cocky, long-haired boy who happens to be the most popular guy in school and shares a common name. Ataru is serving out a prison sentence in Kyushu for having killed a police officer. Though innocent, circumstance forced him to accept the conviction. As the time on his sentence ticks down to its last year, he is informed that his daughter - born between him and his girlfriend, Yuki - has come down with a serious heart disease. Rather than serve out the rest of his sentence, Ataru determines to escape together with three other wrongly-convicted inmates and a young girl, Sakura, who has run away from her abusive parents. Fueled by love and a yearning for justice, the escapees head toward Tokyo in a 1,000 kilometer journey up the Japanese archipelago; a “breakout” in search of hope.

Two humans with identical genetic makeup will attract and find each other, no matter how far apart.
