Hitomi Serizawa leads a fulfilling professional and private life. What’s more, she will be getting married in 100 days. Plans are progressing smoothly until the unexpected appearance of her mother after an absence of 25 years. A free-spirited woman who lives impulsively and abandoned Hitomi to her stepfather, the mother, Kanako has suddenly decided to re-enter her daughter’s life in time to bask in the attention and respect given to the mother of a bride. Naturally, Hitomi is incensed and galled by the idea. But Hitomi soon finds out that her mother knows her intimately, for she has been corresponding with her mother all her life, believing her to be a childhood friend who moved away. As a result, Kanako knows all of HItomi’s closest-kept secrets, her innermost thoughts, everything about her upcoming marriage and even… that she was recently diagnosed with a life-threatening brain tumor that may ruin plans for the wedding. Hitomi makes every effort to resist her mother’s unsolicited intrusion into her life, but blood is thicker than water. And so begins the 100-day battle between a mother and daughter. Can it end well?

Our story begins with travel agency headquarters' tour planner, Endo, being suddenly transferred to work at Narita International Airport in what he deems a depressing demotion. From his first day, the dorky Endo struggles to make the adjustment to his new, female-dominated environment. His subordinate, Morio, views him with utter contempt while his superior, Koizumi, is pathetically trivial and unreliable. Together with his quirky colleagues, Endo frantically tries to resolve a never-ending barrage of customer relations issues at the airport counter when all he seeks is a ticket back to company headquarters. As time passes, however, Endo begins to gradually share his colleagues' passion for the work, evolving from wanting to just "get people in the air" to "ensuring they depart with smiles on their faces." Endo's transformation to a hard-worker devoted to the customer even sparks new feelings toward him from his severest critic, Morio.

The school's six most handsome guys run their own extracurricular “Host Club.” Each with their own unique character, they offer tender loving care to the girls of Ouran. In a bizarre twist of events, female student Haruhi ends up dressing as a boy and debuting as the club's seventh member. Before long, she captures the hearts of her fellow hosts. However, recently it's thoughts of the club's leader, Tamaki, that gives her chest pains. Is she just sick, or lovesick?

It is the Showa 30s - the mid-1950s to mid-1960s - and a full decade has passed since Japan’s devastating defeat in World War II. The people are hard at work rebuilding their tattered lives and country seeking to regain their confidence in the process. As a result, Japan is allotted a virtually “inaccessible region” of Antarctica to study, where temperatures plunge to minus 50 degrees centigrade and blizzard winds whip up to 100 meters an hour. Nobody expects them contingent to succeed.
“Now is precisely the time when we must show the world our true mettle and determination,” says the Japanese Antarctic exploration team. “We have to prove that we can stand on our own two feet.”
The mission soon becomes synonymous with Japan’s return to the global community. But the unforgiving continent is not about to yield its pristine, never-before-touched-by-man territory easily. With such seemingly insurmountable challenges, the wintering team draws inspiration, hope and motivation from none other than its 19 Karafuto dogs. This is a story about one young scientist who risks his life in Antarctica for his loved ones, his country’s honor and for his “comrades in arms”, the dogs with whom he forges true bonds of kinship and shared destiny.

The setting is one of Japan’s most prestigious private high schools, Ouran Academy, with a student body made up of scions of the country’s rich and famous. It is also home to an extracurricular club made up of “beautiful” boys called the Ouran High Host Club. The story begins with the only penniless boy in the school, Haruhi Fujioka, making his way into the school on academic merit alone, and unwittingly stumbling into Ouran High Host Club membership. Having found himself saddled with enormous debt, Haruhi is ordered by the club’s leader, Tamaki, to make his debut as a host. But the problem is… Haruhi’s actually a girl.

All hell breaks loose at a local high school when a very effete men’s tumbling and rhythmic gymnastics club is suddenly joined by a gang of the school’s “baddest” boys, and proceed to make believers out of everybody around them. Casting a spotlight on the Japanese-born sport of men’s rhythmic gymnastics, Tumbling is an uplifting and inspirational passion-of-youth drama about true friendship, dreams and the wonders of hard work. In fact, all the actors underwent rigorous gymnastics training so they could perform their stunts. But will they all be tumbling like pros by the end of their dramatic run?

The story begins when a housewife named Aoi meets a boy named Yuichi, who is the orphaned son of her close friend. It is a heartwarming comedy about Aoi, the constantly positive, cheerful and accommodating housewife, transforming Yuichi, a sissy and sensitive crybaby, into a mature and independent man.
